Kaam Ki Khoj — the search for work — is a job portal that connects people looking for jobs with the employers who are hiring.

We built it on a simple idea: finding work is hard enough without the site you are using making it harder. No hidden charges for candidates. No fake listings. No selling your details to whoever will pay for them.

What we do

We bring two groups together. Job seekers publish a profile and a CV, search vacancies, and apply. Employers advertise genuine openings and search for candidates whose skills match what they need. Everything else we do exists to make that exchange faster and safer for both sides.

For job seekers — and it is free

Kaam Ki Khoj is free for job seekers. It always will be. Creating an account, building your profile, uploading your CV, searching jobs, setting job alerts and applying cost you nothing.

• Build a profile once — your education, experience, skills, languages and projects, plus the CV you want employers to see.
• Search and filter by role, industry, location, experience level and salary.
• Apply in a click — your profile and CV go straight to the employer.
• Set job alerts and hear about matching roles as they are posted.
• Be found — employers searching for someone with your skills can find and contact you directly.

That last point is worth being clear about, because it is the whole point of putting a profile on a job site: employers who buy a search package can see your profile and get in touch. You decide whether you want that, and you can hide or delete your profile whenever you like. We explain exactly how this works in our Privacy Policy.

For employers

• Post vacancies and manage every application in one place.
• Search candidates by skill, experience, location and salary expectation.
• Track your pipeline from application through to interview and offer.
• Schedule interviews, including video interviews, through the site.

Employers pay for job postings and candidate search. That is how we keep the service free for the people looking for work.

What we will not do

These are commitments, not marketing:

• No job seeker will ever be charged. Not to register, not to apply, not to be "shortlisted". If anyone claiming to represent us or an employer on this site asks you for money, it is fraud — report it to us at once.
• Real vacancies only. Listings that are actually paid training courses, investment schemes or chain-marketing recruitment are removed, and the accounts behind them closed.
• We do not sell your data. We do not rent or trade candidate databases, and we do not pass your details to advertisers.
• Employers are held to rules. They may use candidate data only for genuine recruitment — never to build their own database, never for marketing.
• Equal opportunity. Listings that discriminate on religion, caste, sex, disability or any other ground prohibited by Indian law are not allowed here.

Protecting young job seekers

Indian law does not permit the employment of children under 14, so they cannot register with us. Anyone aged 14 to 17 may register only with the verified permission of a parent or legal guardian, and we do not track their behaviour or show them targeted advertising. Hazardous work may not be advertised to them.

Your data is yours

We are a Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. In plain terms: you can see what we hold about you, correct it, take it back, or have it deleted — and we have to act on that. Our Privacy Policy sets out how, in language we have deliberately kept readable.
