These Terms of Use govern your use of the website kaamkikhoj.com and any related services ("Kaam Ki Khoj", "the site"). Please read them before using the site. By registering an account, posting a job, applying for a job, or otherwise using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The site is operated by Wild Cats Media, SCO-47, Second Floor, World Street, Sector-79, Faridabad, Haryana 121014, India ("we", "us", "our").

1. What Kaam Ki Khoj is — and what it is not

Kaam Ki Khoj is a platform that lets employers advertise vacancies and lets job seekers publish profiles and apply for those vacancies. We are an intermediary. We are not an employer, a recruitment agency, a placement agency or a party to any employment relationship formed through the site.

This means:

• We do not guarantee that any job seeker will find a job, or that any employer will find a candidate.
• We do not independently verify every job listing, every employer, or every claim made in a job seeker's profile or CV. We remove listings and accounts when we find they are false, but we cannot check everything.
• Any offer, contract, salary, interview or dispute is entirely between the employer and the job seeker.

Please use your own judgement before sharing personal information with an employer, attending an interview, or accepting an offer.

2. Fraud warning — read this

A genuine employer will never ask you to pay money to get a job. Kaam Ki Khoj does not charge job seekers to apply for jobs, and we never ask for payment to "release", "confirm", "register" or "process" an offer.

Treat as fraudulent, and report to us at once, anyone who:

• asks you for a registration, security, training, laptop or placement fee;
• asks for your bank account details, card number, UPI PIN, OTP or net-banking password;
• asks for your Aadhaar, PAN or other identity documents before a genuine offer is made;
• makes an offer without any interview, or pressures you to pay quickly.

Report suspected fraud to grievance@kaamkikhoj.com. You can also report cybercrime to the Government of India at cybercrime.gov.in or on helpline 1930.

3. Who may use the site

• You must be at least 14 years old to register.
• If you are 14 or older but under 18, you may register only with the verifiable consent of your parent or legal guardian, and only for work that is lawful for your age. Indian law prohibits employing 14–18 year olds in hazardous occupations and processes.
• Children under 14 may not register. Indian law prohibits their employment in all occupations.
• You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may hold only one job seeker account. Employers must register a separate employer account.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at support@kaamkikhoj.com if you believe someone else has accessed it. We may suspend an account where we reasonably suspect misuse, fraud or a breach of these Terms.

5. Terms for job seekers

• Everything in your profile and CV must be true. Fabricated qualifications, experience or identity are grounds for immediate removal.
• Upload only your own CV and your own personal data. Do not upload anyone else's CV or personal details.
• You understand and agree that when you publish a profile, employers who hold a CV search package can find, view, download and contact you. This is explained fully in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw and delete your profile at any time.
• Do not use the site to advertise services, solicit business, or send unsolicited marketing to employers.

6. Terms for employers and recruiters

If you post jobs or buy access to candidate data, you additionally agree that:

• Every listing must be for a genuine, currently open vacancy with a real employer. Listings that are fronts for training programmes, paid courses, investment schemes, multi-level marketing or data collection are prohibited.
• You will never charge a job seeker any fee of any kind in connection with a job advertised on this site.
• Listings must comply with Indian law, including laws on equal opportunity and child labour. Do not discriminate on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, descent, place of birth, disability or any other ground prohibited by law. Do not advertise hazardous work to anyone under 18.
• You will use candidate personal data only to assess and contact candidates for genuine recruitment. You must not resell, licence, publish or transfer it, add candidates to marketing lists, or use it for any other purpose.
• You will not scrape, bulk-download, systematically copy or build a competing database from candidate data, whether manually or by automated means.
• You are an independent Data Fiduciary for the candidate data you receive and are responsible for complying with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in respect of it, including honouring erasure requests made to you directly.
• You will keep candidate data secure and delete it when your recruitment purpose ends.

Breach of this section may result in immediate termination without refund, and we may report serious breaches to the appropriate authorities.

7. Things nobody may do

You must not:

• post anything unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful or misleading;
• impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your association with one;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
• upload viruses, malware or any code designed to harm the site or its users;
• use bots, scrapers, crawlers or automated tools to access, copy or monitor the site, except for search engines obeying our robots.txt;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, other accounts, or our servers, or probe or test our security without written permission;
• interfere with the site's operation or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
• reverse engineer or copy any part of the site.

8. Paid packages, payment and refunds

• Prices for job posting, CV search, featured listings and other paid packages are shown on the site and are in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable GST is added where required.
• Packages are valid for the stated duration and quota. Unused quota expires when the package expires and does not carry forward.
• Payment is taken through third-party payment gateways. We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials.
• Refunds: paid packages are generally non-refundable once activated, because access to the service begins immediately. If a package was charged in error, could not be delivered, or was duplicated by a payment failure, write to support@kaamkikhoj.com within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and refund what is properly due. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–10 working days.
• We may change prices at any time. A change will not affect a package you have already bought during its current term.

9. Content you post, and content we remove

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and distribute it only as needed to run the service — for example, showing your job listing to job seekers or your profile to employers. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period.

As an intermediary, we will remove or disable access to unlawful content on receiving actual knowledge of it, a valid complaint, or an order from a court or an appropriate government agency, within the timelines required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. We may also remove content that breaches these Terms, and suspend or terminate the account responsible.

10. Our intellectual property

The Kaam Ki Khoj name, logo, site design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Wild Cats Media and protected by law. You may use the site for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from it without our written permission.

11. Third-party links

The site may link to other websites, including employers' own sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.

12. Availability

We aim to keep the site available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control, and we will give notice where reasonably practicable.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

We specifically do not warrant that any job listing is genuine, that any employer or candidate is who they claim to be, that any information in a profile or CV is accurate, or that use of the site will result in employment or in a successful hire.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of the site.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you actually paid us in that period, or ₹5,000, whichever is higher.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Cats Media and its officers and employees from any claim, loss, liability, or reasonable legal cost arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the site, your infringement of anyone's rights, or, if you are an employer, your handling of candidate personal data.

16. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time from your dashboard or by writing to us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or the law, if we reasonably suspect fraud, or if required by a competent authority. Where circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including sections 10, 13, 14, 15 and 17 — will continue to apply.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Faridabad, Haryana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the site.

Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will give notice on the site or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
