The Junior Engineer (JE) position constitutes the bulk of vacancies (13,487 posts) across various engineering
disciplines including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and other specialized fields required for railway operations
and maintenance.
The IT Junior Engineer roles (49 posts) focus on maintaining and upgrading the digital infrastructure that powers
modern railway operations, including reservation systems, network management, and cybersecurity.
Depot Material Superintendents (465 posts) play a crucial role in inventory management, procurement, and
logistics coordination across railway depots nationwide.
Chemical & Metallurgical Assistants (65 posts) are essential for quality control, materials testing, and ensuring
